Whitney Lauren Cheshier. I have to be honest, I'm writing this blog in hopes that Whitney will write one about me. She's just that cool and amazing, that I read through her blogs in hopes to see "Jo" mentioned here or there...and it's definitely in there a couple times (yay!). Hee hee.
It's honestly hard to put into words all the ways and reasons I love Whitney. I think the #1 reason is that she makes me a better person. She makes me feel like I'm smart (which we all know I'm not! at all!). She is as loyal as the day is long...and above all, I can trust her with anything. She has proven that to me time after time. The #2 reason I love Whitney is because she's like a mini-me. We are SO MUCH alike in so many ways...we are both girly girls who love pink and sparkles and smiling at all times. We're also different in a lot of ways, but that puts us back to #1 about her making me a better person, because she helps me understand different perspectives. The #3 reason I love Whitney is because I feel like she is my family. That's a very strong word in my book - but I honestly feel like she is a little sister. There's no question in my mind that our bond is as strong as family, I can't imagine any part of the rest of my life without her in it. The #4 reason I love Whitney is that she invited me into one of the most important parts of her life...her friendship with Lindsey, which ultimately gave me another AMAZING friend (in which I'll write an entirely separate blog about as well). There are #5, #6, #7 plus infinity reasons I love Whitney that will have to wait for another time.
Bottom line, Whitney gives me hope. Hope and trust in true friendship.

Being Sick
Being sick just sucks. Plain, outright sucks. I've been sick since late Saturday night, and I think the worst part about it is that I can't do anything about it...I'm pretty sure it's that general flu bug that's going around (achey, tired, just plain BLAH). I guess the only thing I can do is take it easy...really easy. And if you know me, that's SUPER hard for me. I'm ALWAYS go, go, go-ing. That's normal for me. Laying around on my couch is not normal. Not going to the gym every morning is not normal. Ugh. Most "normal" people I know might welcome the few days working in their pj's from home (which, by the way, I'm so thankful for my boss who basically kicked me out of the office this morning). But me? No...I can't welcome sitting around and being out of my routine, although, at this point - I guess I have no choice. On top of it all - THIS is my very very very favorite time of the year. I want to ENJOY all of the music, and movies, and happiness in the air...so, here's to myself...and feeling better SOON. Seems I could just take this as a much needed rest, but instead I feel out of whack by relaxing...funny, huh?
